Capoeira Classes

Capoeira classes are open for kids and adults (ages 5 to 50) for all levels of athletic experience. The level of difficulty of the teaching will always be based upon the level of the majority of students that are present in that class. The schedule for Spring semester (Jan 23 - Apr 29, 2012) is as follows:

To complement capoeira trainings, students are also encouraged to attend classes at Capoeira Mandinga Detroit group on Thursdays and Saturdays.

Membership Plans

  • $8 drop-in fee (per class)

  • $30 per month membership

  • Family discount plan

    $25/mo for additional direct family member (child, sister, brother, spouse)

Non-BGSU members

Please park in metered spaces at Visitor Lots (orange on Parking map). For your convenience, please refer to recommended parking lots for each specific class location (see below).

STUDENT UNION (Map)

Training rooms are situated on the 2nd and 3rd floor. Water fountains, carpeted floor. You may change in restrooms.

Parking with no Permit during the week:

Parking lot south-west of Student Union or metered spaces.

EPPLER COMPLEX (Map)

North and South Gyms are situated on the 2nd floor in north and south ends of Eppler Complex, respectively. Wooden floor, water fountains. Locker rooms with showers.

Parking with no Permit during the week:

Metered parking lot north-west of Eppler Complex.
